Now that the 2012 presidential election is over with, we can focus our energy on thanking all of the brave men and women who currently serve in our armed forces and also our Veterans who have served this country proudly.
In the United States, Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11th. However, if it occurs on a Sunday then the following Monday is designated for holiday leave and most people will not have work that day. That’s why Monday the 12th of November is considered a federal holiday this year.
